That is a good mantra. Most of the time it works for me.
Happy new year to you!!
I could certainly follow the same plan Kelley! I have so many supplies I really don't need a thing. I have that quilt book. I need to get it out and look at it as it's probably been years since I did! Wishing you and your fur babies a most healthy 2012 filled with many blessings. Warm hugs, Lori
You Go Girl!!!!!
BTW, that little red quilt is simply breathtaking! WOW! What a stunner.
Happy New Year!
Best wishes in keeping your commitment to only buy what you need. I vow to do this every year at this time and while I have bought less this year than last, I could do better - much better.
I'm there with you too Kelley - and have been doing this the last two years (no job = no new supplies) and soon I will have to break down and buy more wool! Image that! I've been using it up! LOL happy new year to you and Olivia and Melrose! wishing yo the best!
Kelley ~
Oh, I really need to use it up ~ but probably won't :)
Happy New Year to you and the furbabies!
Hugs :)

I think I need to get a tattoo with that on it... ;o) Seriously, I think most of us could stand to do a little more "making-do." And gotta say - D&B only gets better with time.... ;o) Wishing you a wonderful new year filled with hope and promise....Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin
I have that Country Threads book, love it and all their other ones also. I agree with you! I also need to finish projects, so adding that!
Blessing for the New Year to all of you!

I love that old pin at the bottom! Been trying to do this for years. I really need to do better! Hope this year I will. Hope you are successful and have a very Happy New Year!
Happy New Year! I should really follow along and make do with what I have goodness knows I have enough things to do for years to come!
I am right there with you so here we go.....let's see what we can do! Dianntha
What a great New Year's resolution!! I am going to see if I can follow it also, Kelley. Thanks for the inspiration.
Thanks for the reminder!! I have done that in the past in regard to face creams and hair products, etc. I'm going to put that into practice ~ and yes, it goes for food, rug hooking supplies and so much more!! Love the antique quilts that you're sharing! Happy 2012!
