Closing!!!

my dream house...one of many

my real house...
finally closing tomorrow afternoon
phew
next on to the Medicaid approval

  moon and sky were amazing
the other night when I left work

these were taken in the parking lot
you know what I thought, of course
hooked rug!

*****

please say a prayer for my coworker and friend Trent
he had emergency surgery last night
he's been feeling off lately
kept coming to work - going to school

he has a high tolerance for pain
so didn't realize how serious his "stomach ache" was

now there is infection and
possible long term repercussions
he's only 21
going to school for his second degree

*****

on this sad day I remember
thinking of how our world has changed
how so many lives were altered
will there ever be peace

Yay Kelley on the closing! One step at a time! Love that pic of the dream house!
Saying prayers for your friend... it has to be so scary for one so young but for anyone really.
Hugs!!!

It is so sad that something like that can be so serious by ignoring it, prayers that they can help him without too many permanent damage.

Happy day with the house closing:)

Kelley,
Add my name to the list of friends who are celebrating the pending closing on your home. We have followed you on the road you embarked to take care of someone you love. It's something many of us are facing. Jumping though hoops with Medicare is never an easy or fun adventure but you did it!
Congrats!
