Don't Tell Mom

never ever tell Mom
I shared these photos
with her looking this way
she was just out of the shower...
today is hair salon day

she would be horrified!
also she wants to find a surgeon to
remove her double chin
gotta love her

Mom let Ann
help us organize the wool strips
they are both great lovers of fabric
we spent a lot of time
discussing cutting wool for hooked rugs

Mom decided she would like to try
hooking again...
next week

looks like my worm baskets
will be over flowing soon...
but you know me

I'll cut every piece of wool I own
in to strips
if it makes Mom happy to play with them

A wonderful storm passed through last night
bringing the temps down
about 20*
it feels like May again

What good ideas you have for keeping your Mom busy. And, I will not tell your Mom that you shared those photos...though she has nothing to worry about...your beautiful Mother. xo

I know exactly how your Mom feels. I feel the same way when my daughter takes my photo. If your mother ever finds a good surgeon, let me know. Your Mom is beautiful and yes, ya gotta love her.

My 92-year-old mom hates having her picture taken and I inherited that trait of hers. Now having recently lost 2 of my siblings, I understand while she and Dad enjoy getting photos of those remaining. For her, I try to stop being so shy.

You are doing such a great job entertaining and stimulating your mother. The tactile feel of the fabrics and the task of sorting is perfect.
Hugs, Kim

It is great to see her doing something that she loves and remembers, as a good memory for both of you.

What pictures of mom???
Great idea to keep her occupied. It feels more like April than May. I had to cut grass today wearing a sweater and sweatshirt.
Hugs :)

What a great idea to have your mom do the sorting! I think that it is a basic human emotion to want to be needed. You are such a good daughter...

Your mum is beautiful... But if she finds that surgeon, perhaps we could work on a "group discount"? ;o) Sending you hugs of encouragement.... Robin
