More Quilt Progress

sorry for the blurry pic

hand to mouth
always means mom is pleased with something
she just loves this quilt
she asked if I've shown it to my mother
and will I be making my mother one too

I think I won't need to stitch any more blocks
time to get them all sewn together
deciding what to use for the backing
I like a scrappy patchwork backing
she likes the traditional one fabric
this time it'll be my choice
using up what we've got

when she sees it she'll love it!

I love this one

You and your mom did a beautiful job on the quilt...it's very pretty! Bless her heart...asking you if you will make one for your mom...sad for you...but I think she is in "her" good place....she seems happy and it's wonderful that you and her work well together, might be trying at times....but so worth it, Kelley! God Bless both of you.

I'm sure at times it is very hard for you, but you'll remember all the great times you've had and how much joy you brought to her life . We take what we can. The blocks look beautiful! I just LoVe the colors. Hang in there. Bless you for all you do..both for her and you.
Have a great weekend! Hugs Marg.

It is tough during those moments, but even when her memory wanders away, you are still spending special time together, as a daughter and as a friend, she still enjoys being with you:) Love how the quilt came out and love the back of that quilt, nice idea.

I just love your mother and I think it's a wonderful sign that she thinks your mother would love it also and indeed she does. It is wonderful that you are able to still create with her beautiful things, cherish your moments with her for they will last you a life time.
