it started as a Pinterest search for
muff directions
just wanted to make sure my plans were correct
a slight detour to twiddle muffs
and I'm gone...
a little fiddle blanket
has been on my to do list for years
all these amazing pieces
have me raring to go
can't knit or crochet
so mine will all be fabric and do-dads...
even the dreaded zippers
these look like fun
I know a few dozen folks who would
get a lot of use out them
as I've been cleaning up my sewing room
small things are set aside for mats and muffs
this is one time
sewing on the machine will not be boring
for now I'm doing bits and pieces here and there
with no specific plan
will share photos
when they start to come together

That is funny, I was doing searches this morning on cancer pillows and found these too, great idea but not sure about my sewing skills for so much detail work, lol.

A volunteer at the adult day care my mom attended made her a "busy apron". They are wonderful items for dementia patients.
These are just too cool.... My mum (who is in assisted living) has a "fidgeting" issue.... She shreds Kleenexes to pieces....and if she doesn't have a Kleenex, her fingers go into overdrive. Wish I could master one of these....heck...even ATTEMPT one LOL.... Can't wait to see yours!!
