a little more progress...
you see the evidence on the right side
this is being hooked over a Woolen Memories pattern
one I started half a dozen times
this is my year to use things up
move on from past projects
that just don't work for me
fabric from a sweet friend in Texas
Mom is in awe of all the beautiful colors
she loved putting them in the basket
we are not going to use them
until everyone sees them organized
I stayed until she fell asleep last night
she was telling her NC daughter all about the fabric
laughing and laughing about
all the fabric crazy quilters we know and are
it has been a while since we heard that laugh
my sister had tears in her eyes as she thanked me for calling
we sure love hearing Moms laugh
Mom would like you to know
her arm is not that big in person
and those are scars from when she was in a fire as a child
not wrinkles
we are still work on adjust her meds
fine line between each dose change
my favorite pic from St Patrick's Day
if you are in my tribe sorry for your luck
but I'm going to need all the crazy this month

Laughter really is good medicine. So glad to hear your Mom had a good day and know you did too. Hugs to both of you.
Love your rug, I see a little Magdalena influence going on there too. That was nice of the woman to send those quilt pieces and that your mom was laughing. Laughter is great medicine for the soul and a daughter.

My goodness! I love the colors. Very lovely. Your mom is looking lovely, too. So very glad for you all that she is feeling better. Laughter is the best medicine. Take care!
Love the colors in your rug and those pieces of fabric are pretty wonderful.
So glad your mom enjoyed them.

Love seeing your mom looking better and more herself.
Funny how she worries about how she looks, my grandmother was the same way.
It is nice that we can connect with family now, I know it brings joy to your mom and I know seeing her happy and laughing, was wonderful for you to see.

Hugs, Kelley!
Love that pretty fabric?
Love that cute kiddo photo.
Looks like me and my sissies.
Going to pass it on to them.
Hope that is okay.
Thanks!
Good morning, Kelley. I'm so happy that your mom is feeling better. Yes, to hear our loved ones laugh is the most wonderful sound in the world. I worry about how I look in pictures, too! LOL The "crop" feature on my phone is my favorite edit program. LOL
