Never On the Floor
this rug is one I gifted to my sister
too many years ago to count
a long runner with three cats and lots of purple flowers
Hannah loved to hang out on hooked rugs
anywhere near hooked rugs worked too
the rugs for sale
will never have been on the floor
my cats are wild little beasts
they would have to bunny kick and chew on the rugs
will be back later with some rugs
please know I prefer PayPal
so I will need you to EMAIL me your zipcode
using your PayPal email address
so I can figure the shipping
Thank you so much!

This Rug Needs Work
still not loving it
but will hook more
before any more reverse hooking takes place
to mix with my other little quilts...
just not in red
(it's on ebay if you need it)
in progress...they were going to be 9 patches
but are now destined to be
a little blue and tan 1 patch...
how about that fancy pincushion
otherwise known as a stack of
patches for a different project
the Clover patchwork pins
are a dream for hand piecing...

waiting for Irene
my sister and her dh
live on the coast
so Hannah was helping

A Guest Cat
she lives in NC with my sister and dh
she is just about the sweetest
girl ever
lucky too
because she has rugs on the floor
to enjoy
here she is
enjoying the vent
while peeking at the
screened in porch
this rug is on loan to my sister
which probably means
I'll only see it in photos
the purple flowers
were hooked in honor of our
Grandmother Pansy
in my house rugs would be attacked
if they were on the floor
on the wall Melrose
might try to climb them
who knows
for now they are mostly
rolled up and stored in baskets
a few small ones on
tables ~ cupboards ~ counters
~~~
the rug pattern
is from
Barbara Evans Brown
hooked many years ago
and rolled up until this year
I'm so happy to see it on the floor!!!
A Visit with Hannah
recently drove up for a visit
from North Carolina
bringing along our favorite gal
Hannah
but is really very little
under all that fur
this scratching post
is in the living room
in our parents house
and is a favorite spot of hers
she doesn't like her picture taken
but she held still for me
loves attention and being petted
She's a bit smaller looking now
after a few days
using Chester and Olivia's
Furmintor brush
ADDED NOTE:
Hannah is a most special girl
a few years ago
she was found
climbing on a screen door
at a friends house
when my sister and her DH
rescued her...
she was wearing a little pink collar
but her original family
was never found...
From the day my sister
took her home
she's been an indoor girl
with no desire to set foot outside
~ever again~
You never have to worry
about her sneaking outside
when the door is open
As for travelling
she is the second cat
that makes the trip from NC
in the car
Hannah is quite laid back...
Maggie
the little gray butterball
was all curiosity
and once escaped the car
at a rest area...
I'll find a photo of her to share...
She was another
great little girl
