QUILTS ! QUILTS! QUILTS!

Finally took some picture at my sister Judy's house... these are just a few of her many quilts and small pieced mats...
The first one was made by our other sister Deb...she hand pieces and hand quilts...
This one was made for Judy's 50 th birthday a few years ago...Mom, Deb and I all made blocks and surprised her with it...

I made this one ages ago when the book Quilts Quilts Quilts first came out...one of my favorite pieces with all that pink and brown...used the unquilted top as a backdrop in a craft show display and folks loved it...big NFS sign on it didn't dter then...ended up giving it to Mom and then Judy got it off of her somehow...

Mom machine pieced and hand appliqued this quilt for Judy...it still looks as perfect as the day she got it...Deb and I each have a similar one but ours have been well loved and look more than a bit worn...

Another fabulous quilt by Mom...we bought her the kit to work on while recovering from a broken patella...Jan Patek design...

Oh, thank you for sharing. These are the type of quilts I love most of all - other than antique quilts. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful!
