Monday Buddies

What a rare sight

these two hardly ever
sit that close...
and they were there
for at least 15 minutes

It's under 20* again
so it must be warmer
sitting together

Can't get the color

of this rug correct in the photo

looks more lively in person

This is a do-over rug

Somewhere on this blog

you'll find a picture

of a rug with this same background

but the design was a chick, basket and eggs

I never liked it

so last week I started reverse hooking

(aka ripping out )

and just finished the new

hooking this morning

I like this much better

I can't tell by the picture, but I know how beautifully prim your colors are. I like the simplicity of it. Guess I need to get back to hooking today.

I like the pennies Kelley. Looks like a nice size rug too. Great job. I'm sure the color is wonderful in person.

I like the pennies too - someday i'm doing a large penny circle rug - only have done small ones like that to date - looks great - and great idea - reverse hooking one you don't like - i have several of them! Hey maybe that should be a challenge - we send each other rugs we hate and see what can be "reversed!" LOL

Love the kitty pics

Great rug, Kelley! I do like the finished product. But the picture of Chester and Olivia is so great. What gorgeous kitties you have. And to get a picture of them sitting there, so close together, well, it's just perfect.

Hey Kelley...gotta love that photo of Olivia and Chester together! Worthy of enlargement and framing, methinks. The pennies rug is great...not surprising, since I love all of your work.

PS Cats may rule, but dog spelled backwards is God! ~grin~

Kelley,
As usual I love your color palette!
Don't you love it when your babies are getting along like that?
Can you e-mail me when you get a chance...I have a question for you.

I think it looks beautiful too!!! Makes me want to pull mine out and get to work. It is taking me forever to complete one rug.... just never have the time to work on things for me!
