This rug was on eBay a while ago...
something about the old rugs that inspire
me to create my own version
I'm working on the borders
deciding what colors to use for the center...
blues and browns
drab neutrals
olive and khaki
???
Will share a work in progress photo soon
I can barely stand to put it down What a great feeling!

i have that one in my idea folder and even based my Mom's rug at Christmas on it but I knew she would want "more color" - love this one and the others this seller had!
No advice for you on your rug...You do just fine on your own. Looking forward to seeing it.
Good for you, Kelley!!! It is so nice for you to finally be able to do what you love..you have been very busy with the move..now it's time for you to relax. I love that rug...such a simple design, but the colors are beautiful!
No wonder you find this rug so inspirational. Simple and classic, can't wait to see your version in the lovely colors you suggested. Hope you put some eggplant or aubergine in place of the black. :)
Glad you've settled in enough for time to pick your hook up again. Sweet contentment in hands moving in creation.
Yay! Keep on hooking!!! Thanks for the inspiration pic... a bag of misc worms might get put to use real soon!
The rug looks really nice in the picture! Love the table it's on!

Can't wait to see what you do with your piece Kelley and the colors you choose. Hmm, I wonder how many of us have that photo saved for inspiration of doing it :) Glad you are hooking!!!
I love that rug too! Can't wait to see what colors you pick Kelley. I know it will be wonderful whatever you do. I'm so glad you've settled in and can relax and hook again.
