I

I've been hooking 

with my Miller pencil hook

the only one I've used for years

no need to know how many I own

(it's still under a baker's dozen)

if you need one too

Cats Just Helping

First I took a stack of books

off the shelf in my little jelly cupboard...

Olivia hopped in to make sure I didn't miss any...

Punching Away

No matter what color

I love pumpkins

the latest punched piece

is an experiment

in neutral

or almost neutral

I'm trying to get away from

punching for a while...

too many other projects

to finish

my friend Doris

sent a great bundle of floss

for me to enjoy

some as-is skeins

plus some of her hand dyed

looks like I can't resist one more

punched piece

before hiding the needles...

the hand dyed oranges

are too yummy to resist

Seems even the cats

aren't enjoying the relentless

Ohio sun so much lately

getting this piece ready for eBay

turned out just right

after the tea dyeing

I've spent some time

off and on

the past week

rearranging a few rooms

at my parents house

to make life easier for Dad

when he gets home (today)...

these painted Shaker boxes

were always on the

"give to Kelley" list

for when Mom got tired of them...

since she couldn't find the right

place to move them to

she decided they'd look best

at my house

they sure do!

I'm thinking she purchased these

in the early 80's

at a craft show

handmade in Zoar, Ohio
