wish I knew the story behind this one
maybe mom has a hexagon template
or two in her collection
now what colors to start playing with???

When I make hexagon quilts, I cut out the pieces and then draw the 1/4 line around the backside, then I can sew them anywhere, anytime and match up the corners with my marks. I think that is the easiest way and something you can carry and do while you visit your mom.

I love that sweet little quilt. Looks like someone cute a fragment from a larger quilt and added a border and binding. Probably for a dolly.
