This was another possible repro rug

for the 3rd quarter

I'm not really a chicken person

(except for Chik Fil A)

so I gave it a pass...

 I did some practice editing

at Foto Flex

first I turn it into a sketch

then fade

Next some more advance editing

to smooth the design

as you can see...

I'm interested in getting the basic layout

to transfer to rug backing

A Copycat Kitty

A Cat for you to Copy

when I did the punch needle piece

the only thing drawn on the backing

was the border and the cat

I'd recommend that for your work too

very easy to do some long

hit-n-miss

punching or hooking rows

then add some

chopped up rows

some log cabin type blocks

and so on...

it's

great to design as you go

really

my doodles are always just a

place to start

maybe reverse the kitty

do two in opposite corners

add a bird or mouse somewhere

maybe this kitten lost his mitten
